ED SCHMIDT - President:

Ed spent 20 years coaching college football at places such as the University of Washington, San Diego State University, Montana State University, Bowling Green State University and the University of Wyoming. The logistics of arranging lodging, air transportation, buses, meals, etc., was always one of his primary duties.

When Ed decided to change careers, owning and managing a destination management company/travel consultancy seemed a perfect fit. The lessons learned from coaching college football, such as a determined eye on attention to detail, a tireless work ethic, a fierce loyalty to staff, and an uncommon approach to customer service have all served him well.

Ed directs his staff in much the same way he guided his football teams: with encouragement, respect, love and determination. The strength of an organization is clearly exhibited in its leadership, and under Ed's guidance, The Travel Station has earned a reputation in the region as the one which goes the extra mile for its clients, exceeding their expectations.

Susan Agostinelli-Green - General Manager, CMP:

I started in Travel in 1988 in Billings. After 3 years and I moved to Great Falls and worked at various locations until landing at DA Davidson in 1995 as Vice President and Manager of Travel. In Great Falls I was on the boards of the Convention and Visitors Bureau, Great Falls Advertising Federation and the Junior League of Great Falls, Now back in Billings after 20 years I find myself very excited to be the General Manager of Cook Travel Station. It is a wonderful fit for my clients and myself. Being a Certified Meeting Planner having A Meeting by Design be part of the family of companies is a bonus.

My oldest daughter lives in France and I have traveled to Europe several times, but my true love is traveling to Hawaii. I have been there 16 times and included Oahu, Maui, Kauai, Lanai and the Big Island in my stays. I am married to a Canadian I have also spent a bit of time up North. Being empty nested, as by other children are in Great Falls and Missoula my next big destination plans are to Bali.

Once again I am very much looking forward to building my personal and professional life Billings, MT.

MARK GLATT - Travel Consultant:

Mark has been with Cook Travel Station since 1988. To better understand how the accounting system worked, he began learning the technical side of an consultant's job. Over the years, Mark implemented the transition between accounting software packages and reservation systems several times. Along the way, he began escorting groups and participating in FAM trips, which built a good knowledge of many destinations. In 1994, he completed a 2 year course to become a Certified Travel Counselor (CTC).

At this point you could say that Mark is a verified travel consultant, but Mark feels the process is never fully complete. Keeping up with changes in technology and destinations is a on-going job. To Mark, a travel consultant's job is matching a customer's wants and needs to a travel itinerary. Combine the changes in technology and destinations plus the changes in customer's wants and needs, and Mark would say that change is probably he most challenging part of the job. Then again, change is also what makes his job very rewarding.

RACHELLE CLARK - Travel Consultant:

Rachelle is a true native of Montana who was born and raised in Missoula. She spent her summers in the Seeley Swan Valley enjoying the mountains where her family owns a cabin on a lake. She grew up experiencing the natural wonders that Montana has to offer.

In 1999 Rachelle moved to Washington to begin her career in travel. She attended Travel School at Tacoma Community College and landed her first job in the industry in 2000 working for the nations largest online travel agency. She spent 5 years advancing through the company. Starting as a Service Agent to a Computer Reservation expert to Corporate Travel and finally to the Customer Advisory Department, she dealt with any and all customer service issues. In 2004 she even helped train and open a new call center for the company in Miami, FL.

When Rachelle moved back to Billings in 2005 to be with family, she went to work for Cook Travel. "There is nothing like the people here, they are generous and have that Montana hospitality. I feel being able to relate really helps me understand the needs of our clients" Rachelle says. During her time at Cook, she has assisted with air, packages, cars, cruises, groups, and corporate travel.

After a short interlude to the state of Washington, Rachelle found herself back in Billings at the newly reorganized Cook Travel Station. "I missed Cook Travel, my clients, my family and Montana in general. I am proud to be a part of the new Cook Travel Station. I know that they strive for and are constantly working on new ways to provide mutual success for clients, employees and the company". Rachelle has over 9 years of experience in the travel industry and is looking forward to putting her love for travel, her networking skills, efficiency, knowledge, professionalism and accuracy to use at Cook Travel Station.
